Living life or having life lived

I am tired. Sick and tired of waiting for change. I want change for children, families in despair, students, elderly, I want change for our world and I want it now. I will not ever, I will never stand by and wait for politics to decide how I live my life, NEVER will politics run anything in my life. Life is not meant to live it with restrain, with force, with fear, that's not humane, yet there is such a stronghold on all of us, all of us in the "working class", even those who want to consider themselves in the "low/middle", we are all under the control of a government that has not served it's own people well at all. Why should I have to pay for taxes when my tax money is directly being used to kill people in Iraq, Afghanistan, in countries where WE are the terrorists, terrorizing innocent people by knocking down their doors, taking their family members away, and why should my money be used to take pictures of so-called "terrorists" with military personnel taking advantage of them and posing with them inappropriately! But yet this country has one of the biggest debt's in the entire world, yet we have people suffering from hunger, while we feed prisoners in Guantanamo Bay better than our own people in poverty, yet we have money for bombs instead of for teachers and education, and yet we have money to keep on allowing corporate america to keep profiting from our empty pockets while we stand by and let them take it! This fight is not for me, this fight is not for just my close people, this fight is for the people and it will be led by the people for the people. As gradual as my stand and fight is, I will never back down, I will stand my ground. The media, they tell us the rebels in Iraq and Afghanistan are fighting... wouldn't I fight and protect my family if I had soldiers coming into my neighborhood? I sure as hell would not protect any corporations, I would lead and direct soldiers to destroy them before they ever get to my people! So, I leave you all with all the peace I can pass on and with as much power and strength as we all have together, alone, well alone I cannot fight this system, alone I can keep to myself and enjoy the toys given to me to ignore the process of this system, alone I can keep getting processed... I will not ever stand and live alone, never will I. Spanish and latin countries all have similar uniting chants, usually along the lines of: together, we win; together, forever; together, we prevail. Well you get the picture, so together, this is the only way we can ever move this current system out and enlighten OUR world, OUR country, OUR people, and even OURSELVES!
