As the sun sets, so does my heart

It's around 6 pm right now here in Maui. I'm getting ready to finish bottling my first kombucha mix and make something to eat then attend a class on Ayurveda (I suggest googling this if you don't know what it's about). Anyhow, I definitely have been away from the online world and will hopefully write up a good blog or two soon. Lately I've been enjoying my time so much and living within the present that I totally lose sense of time and even lose care for technology. Last weekend, almost everyone who lives and works here at Hale Akua all took a nice journey down a very long trail to a rocky coast in the pacific. We walked through beautiful bushes filled with strawberry guavas (which were used to not only eat but as weaponry in the strawberry guava snow ball fight we had on the way down this path). The view at the bottom of the path was too beautiful to even take pictures of. I wanted to jump into the Pacific but I'm not one of the best swimmers yet... as well one of the mentors here suggested I stay away from the strong and powerful waves. Two of my friends came out of the water and suggested I go into the ocean with them. We all had snorkeling gear too. So I geared up, waited until I was a little less nervous and jumped in. The waves we're not joke. I swam around schools of fishes, exotic fishes, and aquatic life I had not seen yet. This was only my second time snorkeling and I was impresses by how well I did and so was everyone else. One of my friends even caught a fish! Anyhow I need to go now and make my Kombucha but I will hopefully update again soon. FYI: I will be away again this weekend! I'm climbing a mountain!!! I will be 10,000 ft above sea level as me and two of my friends will be climbing Haleakala mountain. We will be camping and watching sunrises and sunsets!!! Write to you all soon!!! Peace & Love!!!
