Work in (and) peace

I have been finding that work and peace turn out to be working in peace for me. The work here at Hale Akua, just as with any farmer, it is never finished. The work is demanding, it is very labor intensive and thus provides one to get more acquainted with oneself, to feel one's own body at work, to know how one's body really works, overall in the week that I have been here, I have become very well known to myself and there is no better feeling to experience. Time is also something to take into consideration when working, as they say "time is money". However, unlike conventional jobs, I feel because I feel myself and know myself more, I know my potential more as well. Sure, working fast is ideal, it's more efficient to say the least, but within traditional workplaces, the work stimuli is much more overwhelming to employees. In this sense, where I am working outdoors, experiencing mother nature at it's purest levels, and working with an incredible and very dependent workers because of their independent work styles, I know how much weight I can put on myself without keeling over. Well, after a long day's work, I feel very deserving... time to jump in the hot tub!
